Valuable to the Business Investor

I was at the first Agile Development Conference in Salt Lake City having a cool time meeting all the writers whose works I had been consuming over the previous year. I had read every book on Agile I could lay my hands on (except some of the coloured XP ones which became a bit repetitive). I had been chatting with these cool people doing this cool stuff and that’s what it was…. cool but not that valuable when….

Kevin Tate (who wrote sustainable pace) put up a slide on the risk profile of a waterfall and agile project FROM THE BUSINESS INVESTOR’S PERSPECTIVE.

That was it. The Investment Banker and Business Analyst in me took note. There was value to this stuff after all.
